Susan and Scott 's Wedding in Carlingford 16th September 09

Wednesday afternoon Emma and I made our way out to Carlingford for the wedding of Susan and Scott. We did not have to travel as far as the groom who flew in from Melbourne Australia.

Not only did Emma and I photograph the wedding but I also had the pleasure of walking Susan down the aisle! A long time friend I have never seen her look so beautiful or happy. I hope Scott realises what a lucky man he is!

The Heritage Center in Carlingford gave the small wedding an intimate feel. Both Susan and Scott had family present who had travelled from far and near for their special day.

A lovely image of Susan with confetti in her hair

The picturesque willage of Carlingford was a lovely backdrop for the couple. Susan who is living in the area wanted pictures with her husband Scott in all her favourite places.

The weather held for the day and there is no nicer place to be then Carlingford on a good day.
Susan and Scott looked fabulous posed against the stunning Carlingford Bay.

Susan and Scott took a moment for themselves under the arch in the Abbey.

We quickly popped into No 1 Hairdressing for Susan to check her hair.

The reception was held in the Four Seasons Hotel in Carlingford. After a gorgeous meal Susan and Scott cut their wedding cake with the bay in the background. The Kangaroo bride and groom on the cake brought a little bit of Aussi wit to the day...lol...

A great day was had by all and continued late into the night. Both, Emma and I wish Susan and Scott every happiness in the future together.

Wedding of Marianna and Damian in Four Seasons in Carlingford

On Saturday 5th of September in Armagh Cathedral we had the pleasure of photographing Marianna and Damian. Marianna, orginially from Armagh , and Damian, from Oranmore in Galway, had flown home from San Franciso to be married.

While Damian waited patiently with his bestman Kenneth Madden, Marianna was walked down the aisle by her Dad Sean.

The wedding was officiated by Fr Rory on the beautiful marble altar of St Patricks Cathedral

There were lots of friends and family at the cathedral to help Marianna and Damian celebrate and i managed to get a group shot on the steps outside.

Can you see yourself....lol

While the guests were enjoying a champagne reception i took the newly married couple around the sights of Carlingford and got some fabulous shots of them.

We even had a glimpse of the sun!!

After a quick stop at Dans Cafe i took Marianna and Damian to the lovely ground of the Four Seasons Hotel.

with her piecing blue eyes this is a beautiful close up of Marianna.

I hope that the happy couple enjoyed their time with me, they were a pleasure to work with and photograph as you can see.
Many apologies for the delay in putting up the blog. Then studio has been mad with the renovations

Renovations

Sorry it has been so quiet on the blog. We have started some renovations at the studio, and the place is mad!! All the computers had to be dismantled and moved because of the dust and of course the place is upside down. It will be worth all the stress when its finished. There will be a new dressing room and a larger studio for Emma to create her magic. The work rooms have all been moved and reworked. When the work is complete is will be fab!!!
